Large Abalone Smudge Bowl | Lux

Bring a little of the ocean into your mindful rituals with our Abalone Shell Smudge Kit. Featuring a naturally beautiful Australian Abalone shell, White Sage and Palo Santo, this thoughtful combination is designed for traditional smoke-cleansing practices, meditation and intention setting at home.

Each Abalone shell has its own unique colours and iridescent patterns, reflecting the natural beauty of the ocean. In spiritual traditions, the shell represents the element of water, while the smoke symbolises air, the herbs and wood represent earth, and the flame represents fire. Together, these four elements bring a meaningful sense of connection and intention to your personal rituals.

How to Use:

Place the Abalone shell on a stable, heat-resistant surface. For traditional smoke cleansing, light the tip of the White Sage or Palo Santo briefly, then blow out the flame and allow the smoke to drift gently through your space.

Use a separate heat-safe, non-flammable dish or a suitable layer of sand to support burning material and catch embers. Do not place burning wood or sage directly against the Abalone shell, as natural shells can be damaged by heat.

Safety: Never leave burning or smouldering materials unattended. Burn only in a well-ventilated area, away from children, pets and flammable objects. Avoid inhaling smoke directly and ensure all embers are completely extinguished after use.
